Any one can use this, male or female of all ages from 12+ years, as it is good for all skin types. The 24kt gold is not only a great conductor but, it is also a non-chemically reactive material so it will not cause irritation to any skin type. When it comes to acne present, be mindful that bacteria from active acne can possibly spread so perhaps refrain from using The Ginto at this time.

Traditionally, gua sha tools are used for the face to encourage the metabolism of the skin's elastin and collagen fibers that leads to the tightening of the skin. However, The Ginto can also be used to drain inflammation or swelling in the face as a well as other areas of the body. It's great to promote drainage from pedal edema or swelling of the feet and legs. It can also be used to release tension in the scalp and the "hard to reach areas" of the shoulders and back as well.

You can drain and sculpt anytime of the day. Usually it is performed during one's skincare ritual. It adds benefits of better product penetration, so the skin looks smoother and more hydrated, as well as a more youthful and lifted appearance. With that said, our Ginto clients have been known to fall asleep with The Ginto in bed whilst watching TV! The best time to use it is anytime!

THE METHOD:

1. STIMULATE THE NODES:
Use The Ginto to stimulate/massage the lymph nodes from the bottom up starting at the armpits and work up to the collar bone, neck, behind the ears, in front of the ears, corners of the mouth, corners of the nose, sinuses, between the brows and end of the brows. You can google "lymph node chart" and find illustrations of these points.

2. DRAIN FLUIDS:
Using no pressure and just the weight of The Ginto, perform gentle gliding motions and "dumping" all the liquids into the armpits

a) starting from the center of your chest and glide into the armpits

b) center of the collar bone and guide the liquids down to the armpits

c) top of the neck and glide into the armpits

d) under the middle of the chin and glide out and down into the armpits

e) corner of the mouth and glide out and down into the armpits

f) hug the cheek bone and glide out and down into the armpits

g) start from the center of the forehead and glide out and down into the armpits

3. FIRM AND SCULPT:
Now that the face is drained of excess liquid, it's time to firm and sculpt the muscles.

Using pressure and upward movements, you can follow the same pattern as drainage just upward strokes. When you get to the face, be sure to lead all movements into the scalp because this is where our facial muscles attach to our skeletal system and will create the ultimate lift. You'll also notice some tension relief when you move into the scalp. For small areas, like the eyes, you can use the round end tip!

Be sure to do slow movements and repeat each muscle at least 3x like a facial work out. Take your time and repeat!

To maximize muscle stimulation during the sculpting portion, you should use any skincare product that is water based so mainly serums or gels. These provide the best conduction for the the electric stimulation. You can even do it on top of a cream mask as long as you run water through the mask to make it look "soupy". Oils and creams will will not provide the best penetration of electric stimulation during sculpting but it can be used especially for individuals who have strong microcurrent sensitivity.

You do not have to "charge" the tool. Once it is exposed to any light source, it will harness that energy and hold the charge until you use it. Whilst using it, be sure not to cover the ball end where the solar panel is. When covered, the tool still remains charged but, the power is reduced. With that said the short answer is, its always powered and its always on! No need to "charge" or "turn on".

• To clean, simply wipe it down with the cleaning cloth provided after quickly rinsing with gentle soap and water and always ensure that the tool is dry before storing.
• You can also use alcohol wipes to quickly clean the tool but do not submerge in alcohol.
• Do not submerge or soak the ball end of the tool in water because this could break the solar panel which needs to be functional in order for the micro-current feature to work.
• Do not use strong bleach or jewelry cleaning products on tool to protect the gold plating integrity overtime.
• Do not put inside the fridge as well to ensure gold plating longevity and solar panel function.

No. The tool does not do any movement that is not guided by the user. Any vibrational movements you may have seen online are created by the user of the tool. The micro-ampoule charge is mostly undetectable but, does provide micro stimulation. It is not strongly felt like other micro-current devices on the market today. Therefore, it can be comfortably used everyday for a cumulative result.
